If the connections fail in Loop!:
- open the app and check its status
- confirm the VPN is connected
- ensure the app is allowed to run in the background
- check that battery optimisation is disabled
- check notifications are enabled for Loop!
Restarting the phone can also resolve underlying system or network issues.
On iOS, VPN reconnects can be triggered by Low Power Mode, background activity limits, or switching networks during connection. Disabling Low Power Mode and keeping the app open during initial connection can improve stability.
On Android, battery optimisation is a common cause of interruptions. Disabling battery optimisation and allowing unrestricted background activity for RealityMeter usually provides the most stable experience. Some manufacturers apply additional restrictions that may require manual adjustment.
